COMPARISON OF EDUCATION IN UNITED STATES AND INDONESIA

Hello readers ....

Welcome to my Blog

How are you all day? I hope your day is amazing! For the discussion this time, I will discuss about education in the world. Why not in Indonesia? Well, here also will discuss the comparison between education in Indonesia and education in the world. For education in the world, I will not discuss all the education in the world. Only one is the United States.

Line Rules Line Up & Pledge of Allegiance

Surely you know, in Indonesia you must be used to the name of the ceremony. From kindergartens to elementary schools, we must have been taught the rules of line-up rules that are usually done by soldiers. And this is one of the forms of planting nationalism in students in Indonesia. But, in contrast to the United States. United States students not trained in line-up training. And the way education is there to instill a sense of nationalism, in the morning US students do something called a pledge of alleviation. Here they express loyalty while facing the US flag. The statement reads:

Religion Subject

In religious studies in Indonesia it is strongly recommended that they be spiritually instilled for them. But in the US it is very different. In the US there are no religious studies. Because religion is considered a very personal matter by them. Therefore, it is parents and families who play a role in teaching religious values.

Zoned School

In Indonesia, to be able to enter public school, prospective students must take the entrance or screen test through report card grades. However, in the United States has a system called Zoned Schools. In this system, a school must accept students whose location is not far from the school.
 Cost of Education

One of the important things in education is the cost factor. In Indonesia, public schools have relatively inexpensive educational costs when compared to private schools. Well, for certain levels it is already free. Meanwhile, in the United States public or private schools are free of charge. Education in the US is provided free of charge, but tuition fees must pay for themselves. This is also due to the need for children to go to school in the US. Now, there are many movements fighting for the education of public universities in the US to provide free programs as well. Many feel that higher education is also something that is important and must be accessible to all people.

School Exams and National Exams

Students in Indonesia are certainly tired of facing various exams such as UTS, UAS, School Exams and National Exams. However, because of the decentralized nature of US government, they do not have national education standards, so they do not have a national examination.
Public schools in the US have 3 standard exams, and 2 of the 3 exams do not affect student graduation. The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) test is only used to determine students' learning abilities in an area. Meanwhile, the state achievement test is only used to determine whether a school will get additional funding from the government. In addition, the required tests are only high school graduation exams.

That is some comparison of education in Indonesia and in America is very significant right? Regarding education in America and in Indonesia, there may be one of them that is good to be applied in Indonesian itself. But whatever it is for education, it's not just cool or not education but how we can go to school and get useful knowledge. Indonesia or the United States must have taught schools that are good for qualified educators.

So, from my blog hopefully it will be useful for those of you who read and get better insight.

Thankyou Everyone~
